Seoul Meat Co has amazing fresh meat and the service is amazing! I had an amazing experience here and I would recommend it to everyone!
Five stars for a nice and classy all-you-can-eat Korean bbq place. Loved the bulgogi and pork belly. All of the sides were amazing too especially the soft tofu soup and kimchi. The service was great and servers were friendly. Thought $35 was a reasonable price for what we got. Would highly recommend if you've never tried K BBQ!

Wow, probably my new favorite korean bbq place in salt lake county. Meat was soooo tender-- especially the pork and short ribs. the house salad is the best!!! Love that they have corn cheese, it's one of my favorites. I usually get pretty full fast at ayce kbbq but this one I ate more than usual before i started feeling sick of the meat haha. the inside is super clean and the plaza it's in is so nice! love how much this area is growing. the fans worked great as i didn't smell greasy like i usually do after eating at kbbq. server was very kind and checked up on us often-- just wish you could order more than 3 meats at a time haha but wasn't the worst.
I didn't take many pictures cause I was the main one cooking but hands down probably the best KBBQ in Utah that I have been to so far. The price is a little higher, you have your simple menu and premium meats menu. The quality of meat is good and there's lots of great options. The kimchi and kimchi cucumbers were so good! I loved all the meats I ordered but I probably wouldn't order the marinated top blade steak or bulgogi again, the marinade is a little too sweet for my liking. Service was great, attentive and fast. I liked that people were constantly coming by to clear empty dirty plates from the table. Atmosphere is cool also, it's a big restaurant with lots of seating. Has a cool hip vibe. I love that they have an outdoor patio. That'd be cool for warmer days. I'll be back for sure.
We came here on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy so we were able to sit down quickly. We got the middle option which has a great amount of selections. We got pork belly, pork jowls, beef belly, beef short ribs, shrimp, corn cheese, steamed egg, and tofu soup. Surprisingly it was all really good. We also enjoyed their salad with their house vinaigrette. The meat was super thick which I enjoyed personally as it doesn't dry out the meat while it's on the grill. The steamed egg was super good as well as the soft tofu soup. Our waiter, Lehi was amazing. He was attentive and constantly checked on us. We were celebrating a birthday and forgot candles, he came back to our table with candles and saved the day. We loved the service he provided. The ambiance was pretty cool and felt like we were in UT at all. Love the vibe and the Kpop music videos while we ate. Overall, I will be coming back!
Seoul Meat Co. is probably the best KBBQ spot we have in Utah--actually, it IS the best. Two reasons, one is because it's actually Korean owned instead of Chinese owned, and two, the meat quality is the best out of all the other locations. So far, I've attended twice during soft opening (I may be going a third time), but I will say that the service has been awesome each time. Something I'd like management to work on is reservations and Waitlist. It looks like you cannot make a reservation nor join the Waitlist on Yelp. I called in advance and they said you can call to make a reservation if your party is over 8 people. You do have to go into the restaurant in person to join the Waitlist, which could pose a problem. I live close by, so it's not too bad for me to just drop in to add my name. The nice thing about the location is that it's central in Mountain View Village and there's TONS to do if you have to wait for your table. Parking is plentiful in MVV, so you won't have any problem finding parking. There's many shops and a playground around to keep busy if you find yourself in a long wait. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the price, but you're paying for quality and service. I'd gladly pay a little bit more to have better quality meat. Of course, this isn't an establishment that I'd come to all the time, but I'd pay the money to come here instead of the other KBBQ places we have in Utah. The premium menu which is $52 per person (will raise to $55 after soft opening) gives you 3 different meat options that are only one order per person, so make sure you know that before you choose the premium menu option. The two times I've been here, we've always just went with the regular menu which is $36 per person (will raise to $40 after soft opening). I will say that limiting to 3 meat orders at a time seems to work if the staff if constantly checking up on you, but we did find at times that we would be waiting for the meats and the grill would start to burn. They do change out grills pretty often which is nice. I would recommend to change your grill per two rounds of meat. The fan sits pretty low so sometimes it's hard to see what your meat is looking like, if it's too low, you can ask the staff to raise it a little higher for you. Some of the sides that I like are the Steamed Egg, Dumplings, and Glass Noodles. Even the regular menu set is more than enough to eat, so if you're feeling spending, go ahead and try the premium menu set. The corn cheese is hit and miss depending on how it's made, so I suggest to try once to see if you like it. They also offer bowls of rice if you ask even though it's not on the menu. In the future, I'd like to see if they start offering plain lettuce too. I don't drink much soda when going out to eat, but I did notice that they offer soda by the can. I wonder if they will have the fountain after opening or if they will continue to offer soda by the can. Another thing I'm wondering is if they will continue to use plastic utensils, which I don't really like using with BBQ since plastic can melt. I'd definitely return. I highly recommend this place. Like I said, easily the BEST KBBQ spot in Utah.
I came with a large group on a weekday night, we had 10 people so we ended up having to split up which was fine. But if you have over 8 people it will be hard for you guys to sit together. They have 2 menus to choose from, we chose the $35 one. They have a great selection of meats to choose from, and their meat quality is the best out of everything that I have tried so far in Utah. I really liked their marinated finger rib meat, and their beef tongue. The steamed egg was also super delish. The corn cheese came in a great serving size! I was too involved in my conversation and not able to try all the meats, but I will definitely be back to try everything. They have a great atmosphere inside, and the fan / ventilation works really well, since it is placed directly over the grill I didn't feel as stinky as I usually do when I leave KBBQ. Everything was super clean and spacious!
Five (four and a baby) of us came for dinner on a Wednesday night and we were all so impressed! You couldn't tell they were still in their soft opening phase because it seemed like everything ran smoothly, at least on the front end. They originally sat us in a booth, but moved us to a table because we needed a high chair and it can't block the grill buttons. Safety first! They were attentive and changed our grill multiple times. The meat quality is 10/10! Not only in taste but in portion. They allow you to order three meats at a time, but as many sides as you want. Our favorites were the beef brisket as it wasn't too fatty, the steak which was juicy and had great flavor, the truffle fries, and the pork belly. We ordered a side of the cheese fondue as we've never had it for Korean bbq before... game changer! Especially with the pork! Such a yummy twist and we ordered it all night. The only banchan we ordered was kimchi and cucumbers. The kimchi was delicious and not too sour. I hope they add to their banchan options. All their utensils and cups are plastic and the chopsticks are the wood ones. I love that they have the fan above the grill, but it was so low it was hard to turn the big pieces of meat. Not a big deal though! Definitely will recommend this place to others and I can't wait to go back!
